Bongani Phillip Sibanyoni

Bongani Phillip Sibanyoni is a Chartered Accountant by profession completing his training at KPMG in the mining and energy division. This led him to investment banking at Nedbank Capital, where he specialised on the structuring of acquisition and leverage finance transactions and also had extensive experience in project finance transact ions throughout the continent.

He also worked for Standard Bank Corporate and Investment Bank, where he looked at transactions in the Mining and Metals sectors. He looked at the structuring of leverage transactions and project finance transactions in the mining sector across the different commodities.

Bongani was also part of the Industrial Infrastructure and Logistics team in the IDC, where he looked at ports, terminals, storage terminals and non-renewable energy transactions on the African continent.
