Imeldah Chavalala has a number of certificates under her belt that she has acquired through NOSA namely; Intro to OSHACT, Applying SHE Principles and Procedures, National Certificate in Safety Management and SAMTRAC. She is also currently doing an advanced certificate in Safety Management with UNISA. She began her career working as a Safety Officer for a construction company where she learned a lot of skills and gained experience in the industry.

Her knowledge extends to Hazard identification and Risk Assessment, Incident Investigations and Trend Analysis. Working as Safety Officer with different people and in different locations has moulded her into a person who adapts easily, thrives with new challenges and is able to handle working under pressure. She has great interpersonal skills which is a plus in her line of work as she deals with people all the time, she’s also an excellent mediator.

All this experienced that she has amassed in the industry has turned her into a professional person who will likely fit in any office and/or company culture which makes her suitable for any environment.
